See the Paddock Review Rating Section on this website for reference. Galactic Prince review A lesser group perhaps than in the first division. The draw seemed to make quite a difference here together with a mature ride from David Probert using his brain. Galactic Prince Missed break fractionally but Probert had a plan and rode to get to the uphill rail first and from there was able to dominate. Some particularly uninspiring rides behind made his task easier. Lower medium, good strength throughout in a Dubawi-ish sort of fashion. Cant say he looked super fit but clearly was, just a chubby type. 75 Syncopation Tall, lightly made and looking fully tuned. 72 Coastal Cyclone Top end of small but strong and looking fit for a H Dunlop debut. This is the track where he likes to start his best ones. Should progress well form here but size limited as a 2yo. Maybe did a bit too much and had he been able to get to the rail might have got closer. 73 City Dreamer Drawn low but given a brainless ride. Sweeney after 2f had them all in front and could have brought CD across to the rail and the better ground. Instead he stuck out wide and then tried to come around the field on the slowest part of the track. Lower medium and ok proportions but lacks much motive power in his hind quarters 72 Quothquan 3rd time out and trundled through with a 7lb claimer up. 64 Abatement Big and plain, stuck out in the mud, low potential for a lot of improvement. 70 Percy Thrower Not dis-similar in shape and size from Galactic Prince, slightly less substance in a slightly taller frame. Hills debut so should come on. 69 Plant Pot Power Seemed to just get bogged down out in the centre. Strongly made but not big, just average medium, well muscled and have to think the going was what stopped him. 75 Inner Circle Awkwardly made, small frame, not fit. Strength apparent and despite finishing last showed more than I expected. Not without potential. 67 |
