MAY 24th SUMMING UP
|
The weaker of the two divisions and none of the previous runners appeal
as being able to improve much past a 60 rating.
Therefore, the two better newcomers may be able to compete well so long
as they are at least competent. Croft runs for a trainer who has
a moderate record with 2yos but in 2004 he seemed to have his early 2yos
readier on debut and got two debut wins. Nawayea is an owner
bred with a good pedigree but may be only an average type given the debut
at a lesser course with L. Jones riding but 'average' along with competent
would be enough to compete here.

PADDOCK & SALES REVIEWS:
|
Croft rated 74 and above average chance of being a 2yo winner. Medium
size and above average build. Neat ready type. Medium sprinter with echoes
of Danehill shortish/heavy type.
Figjam rated 61. Small but heavy bodied. More likely to be a little
trundler than a development type.
Bay Diamond rated 60. Below medium size and build, notably narrow.
Allsussedup (Windsor) rated 60. Ok size but lengthy and narrow with
it, lacking build for size. Lighter behind and not an obvious 'speed' type.
Supreme Kiss rated 56. Very small and compact and medium build Probably
a trundler.
Fashion Chic (Lingfield) rated 54. Notably short, especially for
length. 50s rating at best.
