Martian Glow's trainer has already won with two of the three debut
2yos in 2005 suggesting he has a good group. The two that won have been
4/1 in similar fillies' maidens (in the North & Midlands) while the
unplaced runner was 20/1 at Windsor. She has a similar profile to the two
winners and would only need an average trainer debut to be competitive
here in an average group.
Shermeen runs only 5 days after a debut where she showed good professionalism
to press the pacemaker but was soon outpaced by the better types. She runs
only 5 days after debut and on firmer ground. Her trainer's record is no
wins from 4 runners with breaks of 7 days or less to their STO runs. Unless
the ground brings about notable improvement she looks vulnerable to a stronger
newcomer.
