SUMMARY

2Tricky race to fit sensible Estimates to. Winner beat a lower profile newcomer & two fillies of 55-65 range, at best, but in a quick time. Presumably fast ground & perhaps a tailwind. Pace probably strong & shape of race support view that pace set folded the better horses back into the outpaced ones with the exception of the winner.
Avonvalley supported at odds-on with Admin a non-runner. Had very strong early season maiden form. Free early & take lead from Cane Cat early & cross towards rail. Upped the pace before halfway & still travelling strongly when making another effort around 2F out.
Three go with her & Safari Special, Cane Cat & Saxby within 2L of her lead at halfway. French Connection had duelled with Avonvalley early at Bath but left behind by the pace here & 4L back on rail & driven. Silver Grey from trainer who prepares 2yos to solid level for FTO. Green early & lose ground because of that & 6L off lead.
The 3 attending Avonvalley's pace broke at different points inside 2F out and all three stalling & fading late. Avonvalley still going ok & pull away from these three. Probably eased or stalling herself later on. SG & FC makes places by plugging on past 3 stallers. SG make 2-3L on the limited FC. Prob best to refer SG 'promise' in terms of FC rather than her proximity to AV. CCat again travel ok on faster track but fade quickly. SS look short runner & last to drop off AV pace. Saxby look mentally green & race centre. Tough race to shine in & Check NTO & can improve.
