SUMMARY
GFG from GF on Decs. 2.8mm Rain Overnight. Stalls Centre.

Hannon website on the 17th = "In the six furlong fillies maiden we run another couple who have plenty of size about them in Black Cherry and Piping Dream. Both showed promise first time out, Black Cherry at Newmarket, where she was staying on well at the end after a slow start, and Piping Dream, who ran well at Salisbury but looked as if this extra furlong would bring about improvement. We also launch Catharina who while not over-big has been moving well on the gallops and is ready for a run.".

From the LNGA 6f race she was an NR for = Belle Dormant looks ok in her Breeze Video. Medium size and solid build. Ok athleticism. A bit of a surprise when she starts the breeze hos fast her action is, given she has a bit of length and some range. Gets a bit of a speed wobble on later in the 2nd 1f as she tires but because she can stretch out able to hold that and still roll on and not just stop quickly. Seems ok. But with this trainer from Draw 11 hard to think she will show much of her potential. Would also like to see that fast action and speed used on the flat and not on a technical track like this.

Where's Susie a low slung and solidly built one. Seemed to move ok. Looked ok running prominently if a bit free. But, producing only a low level effort 2f out and perhaps a bit greenand looking around. Then losing ground before 1f out for no visible reason and eased inside the last 1f. No WTRB. [Note written day before her STO run on Aug 4th = check the Hills' stable Blog on Mon 4th before the race to see whether he explains the issue].

Escrick doing a pile of things wrong. Very slow start then running too freely in the first half of the race. Then getting unblalanced and hanging left when asked to make some final effort in the last 2f. Eased early adrift and stll hanging. A smaller filly in the field with some build positive but say low-mid 60s and lots to fix..
