SUMMARY

Soft for the First 4 races (this was Race 2) then Heavy after that. Blustery Showers during the Meeting. S from GF on Decs. 22mm of rain in 24hrs to 06:15 & still raining. GStick reading from that time.

Very Strong WSW wind = Close to Direct Headwind on the Ridge & 3/4 Headwind from the Right Downhill & HS.

Field came Stands Side downhill after first race won byt the Stands Side runner. Here Ciaras Cookie led and got onto the Stands Rail ahead of Shipwright. Whole filed reduced to a walk by the last 0.5f & CCookie able to get back up on the line showing the ability to persist off a prominent run again. Shipwright looking outpaced and dropping back a bit on the rail around 1.5f ou, then plugging back on along the Stands Rail to appear to be winning the 'Walking Race' until headed again near the line. Mark up those running away from the rail finishing 3rd & 4th?.
