=== Post Race ===
Comfortable win for Pretty Vacant and pulling clear at the finish. Ok for 75+. Something a bid odd about his forelegs. Left seems to 'flare out' below the knee and perhaps the right does to (like an equine Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink). Trotting back after pulling up hardly seems to bend his forelegs at all.
Moderate looking race depending upon the newcomers and Rosebride a solid 70+ but too green here. Ok effort to get from behind to through to volunteer 2nd before fading. The Daley Express sees the struggling Ed McMahon stable going back to his dad's 'Brocklesby' roots to try to find a usable one. On brief VRev shots TDE looking 70-85 range and a balanced, clean set-up but lacking a bit of oomph for a real 75+ Open Maiden one.
Ryan Moore on Goodwood Crusader but Hughes hasn't shown he can get, or has got, any of his 2yos ready yet. Oh, and Richard, the clue is in the name, it is the 'GDWD Racegoers' club and they expect to see thier horse at, yes, GoodWOOD. Never had this trouble when John Dunlop used to get the GROG horse to win FTO at GDWD more often that not. Where next? RDCR?
