Mistime review

Mistime – Not much too her particularly at the backend but enough height and stride length to see most of these off easily. Only Karma might have put up a bit of resistance if he had a clue. Mistime looking very fit. 72

Gerrards’s Fur Coat – Good ride by Martin Harley who got the most out of her. She is short in every dimension but a solid chunk, maybe a half brick with a peg at each corner. 62

Mr Scaramanga – Neat and ready type. Mid small. Got his win and let’s hope the new novice system allows him a workable OR. 65

Dark Hero – Another excellent lesson in just how small they are in the first four weeks of the season. My comments from his debut at Doncaster were heavy set and fat. Now he has lost the fat and beneath it is just an ordinary little colt. 65

Kamra – Not as downhill as he looks in the photo but a bit awkwardly made. Only a bit bigger and longer than than Scaramanga and Dark Hero. Might be a 75 if he levels off and is usable but no more than 70 for now.

Precious Plum – Quite a likeable filly in a modest sort of way. Only a bit smaller than Mistime but better made at the back. Wouldn’t be surprised to see this one pick up a little maiden on the aw 3 or 4to. 69
