SUMMARY

Big Time Baby one of 3 debuts for Dascombe on the day of which 2 won. Season so far has been disappointing with just 3 wins in total before the 2 today. After a poor 2015 return he seemed to have a readier set of 2yos and readier earlier to race. But, the first 23 runners from the first day of the season had not progressed from debut, overall. The 3 x wins (at a poor 6% SR) had been 2 on debut, one if a weak race with an easy lead, plus a STO win in a moderate WTON event. BTB a positive for bulk on his 1yo picture (a deep block & need to check 1yo video to assess his movement). 2nd on PRFs.
Kodiline ridden by Kirby and unusually short SP so presumably thought to be 90+. Looking back at his FTO by SP record and a mixed story although perhaps more info getting to the Market in the last 2 years. Go back to Debut wins by Beldale Memory (10/1 at BATH) & Reckless Abandon (6/1) and not much correlation. But the last 2 years showing more correlation (Soapy Aitken at odds-on and perhaps a model for Kodiline?) although still a 20/1 FTO win in 2015 (Priceless).
