CoC gives different Going Descriptions for the Straight and Round clourses but only provides a single GStick reading for the while course. ====== Review Notes contributed by @hughonthehill (Twitter handle) ===== ==== Note :- The ratings number at the end of each review summary is an estimate of what OR they might reach rather than a reflection of how they ran on the day. See the Paddock Review Rating Section on this website for reference. Yalta review – Very impressive win here. Yalta – Big, tall strong and powerful. 101 The Last Lion – Medium, powerfully built with a sprinters behind .98 Global Applause – Also big but not quite the raw power behind that the first two had. 96 Sportsmanship – Tremendous shoulder and chest cavity girth, almost too big and heavy for his height. Powerful behind too but looked as though he was work in progress and perhaps difficult to get fit. What in NH terms would be called a gross horse. The drop to 5f just catching him out but should improve again for going back up to 6f (unless Ryan got off and reported otherwise). Be interesting to see where this one goes next. 96 Big Time Baby – In other circumstances a well mede upper medium colt to be taken seriously. Here stuck behind 4 2yo bruisers and not big enough or with enough heft to compete on equal terms. 82 Kyllang Rock – Ran to what I had thought him at Windsor. Competent, decent set up in lower medium frame. 77 Just An Idea – Longish low slung with power behind 78 Nayyar – Athletic compact chap, strong chest and shoulder but light loin connection and only modes power at the back. 76 Rapacity Alexander – It was a weak race she won at Lingfield and this must have just been a day out for connections. Tries hard but too small and did not look up to much here. 72 |
