MAY 29th SUMMING UP
|
Scotchman & Mr Sandicliffe made acceptable debuts
when the market indicated they were not expected to be strongly competitive.
The strength of those two races is mostly untested but they both have prospects
to show good improvement and set a strong standard.
Hot was seen as an early season winner with little scope to develop
and he failed to stay 5f on soft on his last run. He needs to prove that
the ground was responsible for his poor run at Bath and may have less improvement
that the other two.

RACE QUALITY:
|
A split into 'two races' in the last two seasons with a small group of
above average 2yos at the front and producing a tough race. The last two
winners won the Supersprint and finished 3rd in the Windsor Castle subsequently.
The runners behind the front group have been moderate and produced a single
later winner - in a seller.
