JUNE 12th SUMMING UP
|
A moderate race and in receipt of up to 8lbs from the colts Quote Unquote
sets a high level for the others. She was outpaced here on debut and will
need to be more professional but it is hard to see who will set a tough
pace here. This race would probably be the limit of her ability but a relatively
easy opportunity to win.
Twinned rated as highly as Quote Unquote on his debut which was
a good one by trainer standards who normally targets educational introductions.
He is probably a better physical type than the filly and with more scope
to improve. If he were coming here after a short break from debut he would
be an interesting proposition if the 'Prescott mind games' had got
Quote Unquote at too short a price. However, giving 7lb and with a two
and half month break to account for he's probably more one to watch to
confirm the debut promise.

RACE QUALITY:

Usually a low quality race and a rating in the 60s is usually enough
to win. The last two races have included only two minor winners in behind
and most have the field have been seller level at best.
