Watered. ============== Review Notes contributed by @hughonthehill (Twitter handle) ===== ==== Note :- The ratings number at the end of each review summary is an estimate of what OR they might reach rather than a reflection of how they ran on the day. See the Paddock Review Rating Section on this website for reference. Tis Marvellous review No big ones here and a hard race to get a handle on. Very eventful in the paddock with Saxagogo unshipping JPS and careening into Silent Assassin who took off at great speed around the paddock before coming up behind White Chin who gave him both barrels full on the chest. Amazingly he was allowed to run and came second. Tis Marvellous Solid chap, lower medium and seems to go much better than he looks. Did this in a good time on good to firm but greasy. Proper little rubber ball sprinter, although other than the second who may not have been on his game, not sure he beat much. Good ride from Kirby bagging the rail whilst the others faffed about out in the middle. 83 Silent Assassin maybe a smidgen shorter than Tis M but a strong build and looked ready for the day. Might not have been able to give his running after the kicking he received but not disgraced. Looks expensive for his stature. 75 San Souci Bay Strongly made, short and chunky. Didnt look as though this was the third run. Nurseries over 7f? 73 Mucho Applause Full medium size but light build noticed on debut more pronounced here and a fairly plain set up, unfortunately had just spooked in the picture. Fit enough, so unless the ground was too firm not much of an excuse for the run. Poorish ride made worse by dropping of the whip. Over-rated on debut but surely not this bad. 76 White Chin 64 Saxagogo 58 Log Off Bit more too this one and looked better than this run suggests. Taller than Tis M and fairly fit. Not just an Evans electric mouse. Might be for nurseries or might be a bit better than that. 72 Ritas Man Small, not as strongly made as San Souci Bay, doubt there is much more to come. 65 Gentleman Giles Somewhat like Log Off, ok size, tall and enough scope to believe he is 70ish. Never put in race and no sign of trainer so perhaps being kept for another day. 70 |
