APRIL 19th SUMMING UP
|
A reproduction of her debut would by Tryandstopme would set a reasonable
standard in what could be a moderate race. She should be able to improve
from that debut run.
With the bottom four on profile looking to be limited over 5f on a sound
surface the main interest surrounds how good Musical Romance is and whether
Halcyon Lodge has tightened up enough to rate in the 60s here.
If she has the trainer's normal 'readiness' for debut runners then Musical
Romance is likely to need to be an 88+ rated filly to beat the standard
set by Tryandstopme.

RACE QUALITY:
|
The early season AW maiden fillies' race at the course normally takes place
earlier in the season when it is run. It is usually contested by moderate
to average types with little scope to develop.
Typically a performance rating in the late 60s will be enough to win.
|
TRAINERS:
|
B Meehan has used the AW course to introduce useful runners in previous
seasons including Queen Mary winner Romantic Liason (for the same owner)
in 2002. However these have normally been in later season (late May onwards)
and only the Group class Romantic Liason won FTO. His earlier season debuts
here have been moderate to average types.

SIRES:
|
First season sire Mozart (Musical
Romance) has his second runner.
