MAY 1st SUMMING UP
|
Adeje Park comes from a race which is unproven in terms of quality and
she faded into a moderate to average 5th. She will be at her best here
but that may not set a strong standard.
The strongest opposition is likely to come from Secret Night whose trainer
does not target debut wins. However she may be above the average debut
standard for her trainer given the owner and a probably a more interesting
longer term prospect than Adeje Park.

RACE QUALITY:
|
The quality of the race tends to be dependent upon the entries from a small
group of trainers, notably R Hannon and M Channon. In the last two seasons
with lesser and/or unready types from these trainers the race has seen
two long priced winners and rating between 55-70.
In 2002 R Hannon introduced the Group 3 winner Rag Top in a better quality
race.

PADDOCK & SALES REVIEWS:
|
Halcyon Lodge rated 64 at the sales and at Warwick earlier in the
season. Noted as slightly compact and narrow, weak in front although at
least has some build to develop. Not fit enough on the day.
Supreme Kiss rated 56 at the sales with a well below average chance
of being competitive at 2yo except in low quality races.
